Side Scraper
The side scraper is used in a production line as small bulk material buffer store. The store operates with stockpiles placed in line. While building up one pile, another pile is being reclaimed. The store can be circular or longitudinal.
The input material comes on a rubber-belt conveyor and is discharged through the stacker traveling on rails alongside the store. Its height above the top of the pile is kept at a minimum distance to reduce dust emission.
Alternatively, stacking can take place by using a tripper car supported by a frame structure above the pile.
Homogeneizing Bed Blending Systems
This system can be longitudinal or circular.
The blending-type bridge reclaimer is moving alongside the pile to be reclaimed onto two tracks supported on concrete foundations.
The circular reclaimer has one driven truck on one side travelling onto a circular track supported on concrete foundations on one side and the other side attached to a slewing ring bolted to a central column located in the centre of the storage.
The reclaiming is accomplished by a single or a double harrow feeding a fixed scraper conveyor long enough to reach across the full pile and attached to the reclaimer bridge. The scraper conveyor is provided with chains and blades for dragging the material to a belt conveyor located in a tunnel below grade, via a large chute and a vibrating feeder.
Scraper Chain Excavators
The excavator is especially used for sticky materials.
The store consists of two longitudinal stockpiles. While one pile is being built up, the other can be reclaimed. The machinery consists of two stacking bridges and one reclaiming bridge, all supported by high retainer walls alongside the store.
The material enters the store on a rubber belt conveyor running along one side, then is discharged onto the upper conveyor on one of the stacking bridges via a tripper car.
The reclaiming is done by a scraper chain suspended from the reclaimer bridge, which drags the material up to a belt conveyor to the out going belt conveyor.
